How to choose the right supporting equipment for a counter?——Elevator

During the actual production process, a counter shall be co-worked with other auxiliary equipment to achieve automatic packaging. Lifting system, counting system, packaging system, labeling system, finished product conveying system and others. There are many varieties of each system.

Here is a brief introduction to the common lifting system involved in the counting & packaging process:

1、Z-shaped Elevator
There is a vibration storage hopper at back of the Z-shaped elevator for vibration feeding with adjustable speed. The feeding chutes are connected with each other which can deliver materials in cycle continuously. While it has advantage of continuous feeding and high speed, it covers a big area of land and the site shall be high enough. For large materials, it is easy to get stuck in the middle of the chute.

2、Bucket Elevator

There is only one hopper for a bucket elevator, which is filled with material from the bottom and lifted to the counting machine. While with the only hopper to deliver materials up and down, it is slow in speed, it covers a small area of land and has a strong compatibility to material size.

3、Climbing ElevatorThe climbing elevator is a whole belt inclined equipment to deliver materials in cycle, which is known as "large dip Angle". It can deliver materials continuously with high speed. Since the whole belt has no joint, the materials will not get stuck, which means it has no special requirements for materials size. But with the inclined design, it need to cover a big area of land. 

To sum up:

(1) Z-shaped elevator is suitable for customers with high speed requirements and big production sites;

(2) Bucket elevator is suitable for customers with low speed requirements and small production sites;

(3) Climbing elevator is especially suitable for big size materials with big production sites. It's used widely in the food industry.
